To help our neighbors as we begin Thanksgiving week, a group of East Cambridge Savings Bank employees volunteered this morning at East End House to package bags of food for local seniors and families. Every year, East End House helps 1,300 area residents to ensure that they have everything needed for a Thanksgiving meal.
East End House, located just two blocks from the Bank's Main Office, has been a fixture in East Cambridge since 1875. Throughout the year the organization provides many services for the community including childcare, afterschool programs, activities for senior citizens, and an emergency food program.
